Shafali Verma, who is India’s hard-hitting opener, should open the innings. She will be partnered by Jemimah Rodrigues, who might play the game against Pakistan, as an opener in place of Smriti Mandhana. Rodrigues will look to play the anchor role for India. At no 3., the big hitting left-hander in Yastika Bhatia might slot herself in.
