Nasser Hussain is a popular commentator. Not many are aware that Hussain was a very good batter in Test cricket, Hussain was also the captain of England in Tests and ODIs at one point in time. Though England did not have a great team when Nasser was in power, he was good enough to ensure that England performed well in whatever they had. As a batter, Hussain has a name for himself among the ardent fans of the game. However, Hussain was not a batter by default. Rather, he was a spin bowler in the first-class cricket. He went on to establish himself as a very good batter in First-class cricket and eventually made it into the England team as a batter.
